I wrote this last week and apparently forgot to post it. And I went to do another recap tonight and I couldn’t find last weeks and realized I never posted it. So pretend it’s a week ago.

It’s been one full week since I made my Thanksgiving Resolutions. I thought it would be nice to check in and see how I’m doing.
First, WORK: I feel like I’ve really been able to catch up on my own stuff and work with the new people I’m working with more this past week so good job there. The boss has made no mention of reviews to anyone so I’m letting that one sit for a bit longer. I’ve done really well on the organizational front. My desk has remained very clean and I came up with a new way to sort emails.
On the negative side I had a bit of a meltdown on Friday and I’m really ashamed of it. I don’t want to go into details, but we were working on this project at work and other people were just fighting and arguing and it was a tense, awkward situation and I just couldn’t take it anymore so I snapped at someone. It’s probably not even something that most people noticed, but I still feel stupid. It was so unlike me, I don’t know what came over me.
Second, HOME: I have been more organized. I’ve been putting my clothes away and generally being neater, although this weekend it got a little chaotic again. I haven’t hung up the memory boards. Need to do that still.
Third, FITNESS: Despite my physical therapy woes I’ve been very happy with fitness. I woke up early all 5 mornings last week and did a great job with strength training. And I plan to continue that this week. I also found a way to use the elliptical to make it work for me, so, until I can run, at least I feel like I have an ok cardio alternative.
Fourth, NUTRITION: This has been fairly good. Snacking has been cut back, I feel like I’m making intelligent meal choices, and I’ve been having smaller dinners. But there is still work to do. While snacking has been cut back there is still a fair amount of snacking.
Fifth, FINANCES: HOMERUN! I really hit this out of the park. Thank you mint.com. I finally feel like I have control over my money and different accounts and debt. While I’m going to need to do it for a month to see how budgeting and tracking my finances actually works for I feel like I’m off to a great start.
Sixth, I returned the skirt.
