I’ve come to the end of my second week of Thanksgiving Resolutions so I thought I’d do another check-in and see how I’m doing.
WORK: Work was ok last week. I was a little spacy all week, but I feel like everything went well and I definitely accomplished what I needed to get done, including a few big projects. My boss told me thanks for all my hard work this week and that’s always nice to hear. I also had a really productive meeting about interdepartmental relationships. Plus I found out about the process for our reviews so I need to get cracking on that.
HOME: Eeks, this one has not gone well. My room is a total disaster. Total fail. I need to improve on this one next week.
FITNESS: This has mostly been a success. I didn’t do my morning workout on Thursday, but I think I needed a break. I made it to the gym 4 times for elliptical workouts. I’d like to do 5/week, but given my schedule I’ll say this is a win.
NUTRITION: This was going well until I made those Christmas cookies. Now there’s been a lot of snacking. I also would like to stop getting bagels on weekends, but otherwise I’m proud of my choices this week. Snacks were all relatively healthy so that’s not necessarily bad.
FINANCES: I went a little crazy in Aveda, but I realized I’m going to come in way under my budget in the grocery category so hopefully I’ll have some extra money to play with. Also, I spent a lot of money on Christmas cookie supplies, but that’s a one-time fun thing. Overall, I’d say finances were a success.
This is going to be another crazy week so I need to work on balancing all of my goals with these time constraints. That’s my goal for this week.
