I just finished week three, a good week, but there is some definite room for improvement. Let’s see how it went.
WORK: A quiet week, but I managed to get a lot done. Gave several successful presentations in our sales conference meeting on Wednesday which was something I was nervous about. I also completed my review and after reading through it on Monday morning gave it to my boss. This week coming up is a short week, I’m only there Monday-Wednesday. I want to focus on getting everything in order so it’s easy to come back and jump right in in the New Year.
HOME: Not good. My room is even more of a disaster and the things I want to hang up still aren’t hung up. I think I’m going to pile all my crap on my bed before I leave on Wednesday that way, when I come back after New Year’s, I’ll be forced to clean it all up and I can start fresh in 2010.
FITNESS: I’m very happy with this one. I got to run in PT which was great! I feel more optimistic about running than I have in a while. I made it to the gym 5 times (took off Thursday and Friday) and I ever did the Stairmaster for 20 minutes on Saturday without pain and managed to work up a good sweat. I only did 3 morning workouts, but I had some late nights this week so I’m going to say I did the best I could.
NUTRITION: I feel ok about this one. My appetite at work was way down, there was barely any snacking. I ate sensibly at the office holiday party (although 4 beers might have been too many) and I think I made sensible choices when I went out this week. Again, I’m happy.
FINANCES: Eek, they got a little out of control this week. I need to rein myself back in and one day, early this week, analyze how much damage I did last week. This week should be better since with the holidays I won’t be spending much.
I said at the end of last week’s post that my goal was to manage all my goals with time constaints. Overall I’m really happy with how I did with work, fitness, and nutrition. Home and finances fell by the wayside and I’d like to see myself work on those this week.
With this being the week of Christmas there will probably be some indulging, but I think I can stick to most of my goals.
