1. Gatorade and Coconut Water. Seriously, is there anything better after a hard workout? I know Gatorade isn’t the healthiest option, but I seriously love it and with temperatures like we’ve been having I think it’s necessary.
2. Getting my hair cut. I had been a LONG time since I got my hair cut. Like over a year. I used to religiously get my hair cut every six weeks and then I decided to just never get it cut. I had enough and decided I needed to get it cut before I went away this week. I went to Naelly at Slope Suds and I absolutely love the shape of my hair cut. I asked her to leave as much length as possible and when she finished she said it was still pretty much the same length. Looking at the pictures above I hope you agree with me that that’s not quite true. But I still love the hair cut.
3. Walking. Since I got my pedometer a month ago there have only been four days where I haven’t walked 10,000+ steps. Most days I’m around 15,000 and on a few very busy days I’ve been over 20,000. I always knew I walked a lot, but it’s so great to have a goal and the knowledge of when I’ve reached that goal. And it totally explains my out of control hunger on days I’ve walked almost 25,000 steps AND gone to kickboxing.
